What came first: The Record Label or the Artist?

In this case, it was the artist. As an independent musician, getting your music onto platforms like Spotify (and others) requires a distributor, and for that, you need a label name. I chose “Kourier” because I’ve owned the domain name for—well, it must be nearly twenty years now.

It seems I was ahead of my time, envisioning Kourier as a way to deliver something—music—to an audience. And now, that vision has come to life.

I’ll be using this site to share my views and also tips and advice. I did the Advanced Diploma of Music Business back in 2012, I guess I should put it to good use.
