Braizen have dropped their latest banger: The Art of War
Based on the Sun Tzu’s The Art of War.
The original was written during the late Spring and Autumn period of Chinese history, roughly around the 5th century BCE. However, the exact date of its writing is not definitively known. It wasn’t “published” in the modern sense, as printing technology didn’t exist at that time. Instead, it was passed down through manuscripts and oral tradition for centuries before it was widely distributed.
The first printed editions likely appeared in China during the Song dynasty (960–1279 CE) when woodblock printing became more common.
Braizen has taken a birds eye view of the tome. A very broad overview, given that The Art of War consists of 13 chapters. Each chapter focuses on a different aspect of warfare and military strategy, making it a comprehensive guide on the subject.
